Nostetaas jos vaikka jollain olisi ideaa tähän ongelmaan...
Eli ohjelma toimii nyt mutta kun gps laittaa päälle alkaa herjaamaan tota yllä mainittua. Ohjelma pyörii taustalla kyllä ihan oikein mutta ei voi tehdä siihen mitään esim zoomata karttaa. Virhe ikkunan saa suljettua ja se pysyy niin kauan pois kunnes taas liikutaan. eli se tulee aina kun singnaali muuttuu eli ajossa koko ajan.

Ohjelma käyttää sql server ce versiota. Se pitää asentaa suoraan microsoftin sivuilta. Se viimeisin paketti tekee sen muistaakseni automaattisesti.

Tässä viimeisin versio. Poistin P2P jutut, kun ei kisoissa ole hyötyä. Tarkoitus osallistua pikkukisoihin kun sinne kelpaa.

Meillä XP masiina vaatii ensin ohjelman käynnistämisen ja vasta sen jälkeen saa laittaa GPS -hiiren USB -porttiin kiinni, muuten jää validit datat saamatta

Vaihdoin gps hiiren paikkaa ja kokeilin tätä vinkkiä, rupes pelaan.

onkohan Rodeo Driven käyttö rajoitettu esim. pohjoismaihin?
Ajattelin vain, kun ei täällä keskieuroopan eteläpuolella tule validia dataa rodeo driveen mutta esim google maps tietää missä mennään. (google mapsin käyttö ei oikein käy kun on niin pirun kallista tuo data)

Testalin Rodeo Drive ohjelmaa Windows 8 koneessa. Minulla on vanhalla piirisarjalla oleva gps-hiiri (sirfIII). Tuon ohjeen avulla sain toimimaan kahdessa eri tabletissa (Windows 8 pro).

We have found a work around, on how to get the BU-353 to work on Windows 8. We have tried these steps on our Windows 8 laptop, and it seemed to work.


Can someone try this and see if it works for you?

1 - Remove the Windows 8 Driver by going to your Device Manager (CTRL + X), go to Ports, right click on the "Prolific USB to Serial.." device and click Uninstall with the delete drivers option.
2 - Reboot.
3 - REMOVE the BU-353. *** Don't plug in back in until step 6 ***
4 - Install the older driver: http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/dow...river_v130.zip . (May need compatability mode to do that)
5 - Tell windows to NOT automatically update drivers (or it will kill the driver each time.)
6 - Plug in the BU-353
7 - Test with the latest verison of GPSInfo: http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/downloads/GPSInfo.zip
