we check the axle clears everything in the up position


and the down


we start to re-assemble the portals


and use our 4340/300M CV joints - these are very strong <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>


paint starts going on


front winch tray starts to be made


and gets welded in


we take a Defender windscreen surround and cut off all the pieces we dont need, then we drill out the welds and take the cast aluminium end off..


.....then we fill in the holes from the drill


cut off the excess from the extruded section


weld it back together and put a strengthening piece along the top


and check it fits




nothing exceeds like excess....
