we move the ECU to a nice dry place and put it in a waterproof box, the electrics are all GM "Weatherpack" connectors, the spark plug caps are a really good fit and are sealed with silicone grease, there is no distributor to worry about - hopefully it will be ok, when it is finished I drive the car into a lake, turn it off 30 minutes and come back and start it, if it doesnt work then theres a problem <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>   more tube..  ..........and some more
