july-28-2006: C64 PAL core, version alpha 6
After a long time, a new update of the C64 PAL core. Finally, games can be played! Sprites work, collisions between sprites and sprite/characters are properly recognized, and it should be cycle-exact now. The flickerfixer has been improved, and should work with all monitors now that support 50Hz vertical rate. This version of the core does not have the proposed MMU of the CPU, it uses the same memory layout as Jeri's NTSC core. Press the F12 key to switch between PAL (50Hz) and NTSC (60Hz) mode. Many thanks to Peter Wendrich for his continued work on the core, but also to Tobias Gubener who helped finding a bug in the IEC port.
