Ilmajäähyvolkkarin manuaali ohjeistaa tekemään korkkitiivisteelle näin:

Immerse new cylinder head cover gaskets in
slightly warmed water before cementing the gaskets to the
covers. Ensure that the cement fully covers one face of the
gasket before attaching it to the cover.

Itse olen ainoastaan rasvannut korkkitiivisteen ja laittanut paikalleen, mutta mua ei muutama öljytippa haittaa...
