Use them people!

Avatars are little pictures next to your messages. They are supposed to mirror your soul or something...

You can change your avatar from here. You can also upload your own, if you don't like any of the existing avatars.

Use member rating when you see extremely stupid message on the board, and you want to punish the stupid author. Press the lower stars next to message (same box with the authorname and avatar) and rate the user. Rate members high when you see a good tip or otherwise excellent message.
