1. Press and hold the SET button while turning the ignition ON. The Vehicle Information Center will display "Language"
2. Press the SELECT button to display the next language selection. You have the choice of English, French, German, Spanish, or Italian. Press the SET button to lock in your choice.
3. After step 2 has been completed the Center will change the screen to a 12 or 24-hour time mode that you can choose between by pressing the SELECT button.
4. Pressing the SET button will lock in your choice into the computer.
5. After step 4 has been completed the Center will display the service reminder mileage interval. Change mileage interval by pressing the SELECT button.
6. When you have reached the desired number press the SET button to store your choice in the computer and to return the display to normal operation.
7. Drink a beer, and pat yourself on the back, your Jeep no longer speaks jibberish.
