we look for an airbox- this one is from a Landrover V8, the filter is big enough..
...but it leaks, so out with the Tig again....
....and make a new one
this one keeps the water out - unlike the landrover one
so we make a hydraulic tank at the same time
we fit the windscreen - a nice guy cut 50mm from it (the cab is not as wide as a Defender)
now the engine bay looks a bit more like it
Gear levers (at long last)
hydraulic pump and linkage to make its gearbox work
control block and airbox fitted - we must make the snorkal still
winch gets fitted
nothing exceeds like excess....
