I finally got to the point to put this all together, and the brake brackets are not the correct size. Don't know if I got the wrong disc, but the holes for the caliper needed to be out about 1/4...

sandblasted axles and put 3 coats of epoxy primer and then 3 more coats of john deere blitz black paint.

making progress
Well, there they were, about 8 bolts behind the drum brakes. Took those off, then had to run the the store to find the M8 - 1.0 thread bolt to press out the hub, but it worked really easy.

silly question

shock spring mount
The stock mounts needed to be about 1/2 from the inside flange, so no way to get the bolts out to pull the portal apart, so moved them about 1" away and mounted them there. Then I cut off the spring...
