Kuulemma ei ois lupia hellinnyt viime vuonna, mutta tästä vuodesta ei tietoa.

Anyone know if there will be a Ylläs Trophy 2006 ?
In 2003 we where 4 cars from Tromsø and in 2004 we where 10, and we would like to come back.

Nobody haven't heard nothing from organizer. there was some fighting in 2004 with land ovners.
In this topic we will inform if some news will come out.
So far it looks like 2006 Ylläs-Trophy will not come true<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

Christian, Jari has not answered at least my e-mails.... so I guess we'll meet at SOT. We'll join the tour at Kalix on the 21st and continue upto Kiruna. After that maybe a round trip to Tromsö and then after a few days load up the vehicle on the train in Rovaniemi and head home.

SOT weekend is same as Paavo`s Lapland Trophy east of Rovaniemi http://www.laplandtrophy.com/. Great area and intense competition. We where 3 cars there in 2005. Geir in his Defender 110 and Kyrre in his Jeep Cherokee - both "Ylläs veterans".
If I can get those days off work I think we will do Lapland Trophy.

SOT is to easy for you guys :-)

No eihän niitää itikoita(kaan) edes ollut :-). Me otetaan Aku ja Eetu 6v mukaan ja tällä kertaa ajetaan turisteina vähän enempi kilometrejä niitä Mylliksenkin kehumia maisemia katsellen. Käväistään Jäämerellä ja silleen. Poitsujen eka pitkä reissu, suunnistuskisaan ovat herrat liian pieniä vielä.

Valitettavasti aikataulut eivät salli tänäkään kesänä kuin yhden Lapin reissun. Nykyihmisen elämä taitaa olla aika kummallista.

Team Pelokas tulee LaplandTrophyyn kyllä. Kiinnostaisi tuo safarisuunnistus-luokka taas, mut meinaa tuo Tapsa pukee peltikalsarit jalkaan ja lähtee ihan muualle...
