I'm Bebop from France.

I'm a 21 years old offroad enthusiast, and I'm moderator on the french Pirate4x4.fr board :

I'm also currently in Finland ; in Kokkola, Central Ostrobothnia to be precise. I'm studying business here, from January to May.

Needless to say that I enjoy my stay very much :)

It was a little bit challenging for me to register on the board, but I managed to do it.

I'm here to see what the fellow offroaders build and wheel in your country !

And if I can find some meeting I'll gladly come by to say hello and snap a few pictures !

I believe that you had some other forum or forumstyle in use back then, but with a little help from some user I managed to sign in and answer some questions conserning my car. I believe france is almost as hard language for me as finnish is for you. :)

I'm located near Helsinki, about 480 km away, so bit far away for you. I could imagine that you don't have car here?
There is two races here 23.2.This one is offroad cross for heavy trucks:

If you go through "Tapahtumat" in this forum, you will find races and safaris. I think this one is near your location: http://forums.offipalsta.com/showthread.php?t=107009 , but it's a yearly meeting for offroadclub. I don't know if the guys will drive afterwards? Maybe they will comment bit more if they see this.

Finland has long distances everywhere and there is forest in between, maybe you have noticed already?

Did you use english- or finnish-language when you registered? I would imagine using finnish language (and not knowing a word of it) would be quite hard :-)

Yeah, Landy is a good friend, and he's really into nordic wheeling. I'm more a rock crawling guy due to the type of terrain where I live.

I'm not staying a really long time here, but what is the biggest/baddest safari/meeting before the 8 of may ??? I really want to see the best of finnish offroading !

MMC talvisota, aka winterwar near tampere, dont know if its biggest or anything but last years theres been some 80 cars and atv´s on site and date for this year is 2nd of march




(this is from nordic trial but still, same place, raisio)
winter with all that snow is mostly limiting all could we say "your type of offroading", its just wading trought the snow for everybody, and what comes to your date than mentioned above , 8th of may... tmk trial is just nearly after, 15th may in raisio, near turku.
