Thanks for help, finnish language is not simple:) |
Hey
I found this car: https://www.nettiauto.com/toyota/land-cruiser/9293526 Does somebody know this car? I talked with an owner, he speaks english very poorly. I want to give hime some questions, I dont want to use a translator becouse I want the owner to understand the questions clearly. Could somebody translate them to finnish?:) Thank you! 1. Does the car have valid insurance and technical tests? 2. Does the gearbox work correctly? Does 5th gear work without problems? 3. Does the transmission and reducer work cortrectly? (alennusvaihde?) 4. Is the suspension original? 5. In what condition is the frame? (rust?) 6. Is there much work on the body? 7. Is the VIN number on the plate in the engine compartment legible? 8. What is the condition of the engine? Does it work evenly, without blue smoke? 9. What is the average fuel consumption? 10. How many complets of keys you have? 11. Is the possibility to mount mechanical winch? 12. Do you have original seats? 13. Can you send me additional photos of engine, interior, frame and rust, opened back door? 14. What is the history of this car? Do you have some service-book? _____________________ BTW: Do you know how to sell a car to the other country of EU? What is the procedure? May the buyer keep the finnish plates? |
1. Does the car have valid insurance and technical tests? - Onko autossa vakuutus ja katsastus voimassa? (Yes, it does say "Katsastettu 12-2017")
2. Does the gearbox work correctly? Does 5th gear work without problems? - Toimiiko vaihteisto normaalisti, ilman ylimääräisiä ääniä? Toimiiko myös 5. vaihde? 3. Does the transmission and reducer work cortrectly? (alennusvaihde?) - Toimiiko alennusvaihde normaalisti? 4. Is the suspension original? - Onko jousitus alkuperäinen? 5. In what condition is the frame? (rust?) - Onko rungossa ruostetta? 6. Is there much work on the body? - Onko korissa ruostetta? 7. Is the VIN number on the plate in the engine compartment legible? - Onko runkonumero kunnossa, myös moottoritilassa? 8. What is the condition of the engine? Does it work evenly, without blue smoke? - Toimiiko moottori, savuttaako? 9. What is the average fuel consumption? - Paljonko keskikulutus? 10. How many complets of keys you have? - Kuinka monta avainta autossa on? 11. Is the possibility to mount mechanical winch? - Saako autoon asennettua mekaanisen vinssin? 12. Do you have original seats? - Onko alkuperäiset istuimet tallessa? 13. Can you send me additional photos of engine, interior, frame and rust, opened back door? - Voisitko lähettää lisää kuvia moottorista, sisätiloista, rungosta, ruosteesta ja avatusta takaovesta? 14. What is the history of this car? Do you have some service-book? - Onko autossa huoltokirjaa? _____________________ Not sure about the export procedure but the plates are following with the car. You have 7 days (IIRC) to register the car to yourself if you register it to Finland. If you want to play safe, I think you can get temporary insurance "liikennevakuutus" from car inspection companies "katsastuskonttori" even if you don't live in Finland. Import is the part that is usually more difficult. So check what documents you need in Poland. I guess you need "rekisteriote", parts 1 & 2 with seller signature in part 2. |
I wouldn't seek LC from Finland, because weather is very ruthless up here, and salty roads in wintertime rusts vehicles.
Rather look from Italy, cars are not rusty and usually odometer numbers are more real than in Germany |
Perhaps cars in northern finland are not so bad. They dont use so much salt...
|
Actually I assume fight with rust, doesn't matter it Is old HJ60 or new J95.
The owner told me, there Is rust, but the pictures shows, that frame and body Is in quite good condition. My friend from Oslo told me, that old 4x4 cars in Norway has almost no rust, becouse they use chains, not salt. But they are expensive too. Even if cars from FIN has rust - in your opiniom what Is technical condition of them? You have strict technical controls? Italians make good pizza, but they don't care of cars:-) |

Germany is the good country to buy a car when desirable car is new enough that brand's own dealer sells it. |
These old Land Cruisers are quite rare in rest of Europe, but here in Finland you can found quite many which are in good restorable condition and not overpriced.
So zz44, keep your searching. You’ll find yours if you want. |
