I wanted to reply so I will
This looks like wahat I wanted to do to my X5, join exhaust together at calculated distance from cylinder head to gain some HP. But when I examined what those guys at factory already did: exhaust as is, 4 cams, 34 valves etc. I decided to drive "smooth and nice" to my office every morning and not to think how I could improve X5 performance by modifying exhaust. Present torque and HP is confirming my requirements.
