Do you have often these re-enactings in Russia, is it possible to come watch one of those?

?
Good knowledge in the history. Not so often, but some times in a year are spent. In the summer we have a season of festivals on Middle Ages stories, largest of them is arranged in Vyborg. By the way, I take part in it. And concerning the Second World War and Russian-Finnish they are arranged according to any historical dates. One of my acquaintances is engaged in reconstruction of the Russian-Finnish war and I can ask him about the following. If it will be interesting to you, I can write, when following similar action is planned to be carried out.:D

Just curious, who won the battle?
Friendship! :)
Because it was production battle, instead of full historical reconstruction of military events. Clubs are on friendly terms among themselves. And they reconstructed these events first of all on the interest, and in the second that spectators remembered the grandfathers who were at war and did not repeat an error of that bloody war!
Nice to see people who are interested in history by friendly way! There are a lot of that sort of people here, too! That armoured car didn't seem to come straight from the battle front, it is very fine. I'm not sure if the same type of wehicle can be seen in Finnish Tank Museum in Parola. Have you visited there? Take a look at www.panssarimuseo.fi, at homepage you can choose also an english version.
Do you visit the authentic battle areas, too? It would be very interesting to take part to an event arranged together by finnish and russian societies caring for the memory of the Winter war or Great Patriotic war. Nowadays only few veterans are able to travel to the battle areas or tell the stories to our generation, time goes by and soon it's over for that. Thanks for your post!

Water cooled?
Water and snow cooled.
You see that small hatch on top of cooling jacket?
If you run out of water, you can put snow in jacket thru that hatch and keep it cool.
Finnish invention btw...:D

I can ask when their historical club arranges following battle and I will inform you. I too am interested in history and similar events. But I participate in fights on the Middle Ages stories, just one of such festivals is arranged in Vyborg every summer. And on other actions I simply come to look and make a photo reports.
