New MP3 Format called MP3Pro

Last week, Thomson Multimedia the creators of the the MP3 codec announced a new MP3 format. The new format will not be called MP4 as thought earlier. The new format will be call MP3Pro. The new codec will allow file sizes to be cut in half will maintaining sound quality. Recording at 64bits will yield the same quality of todays current 128bit recordings.
